Hong Kong Auctions
Hong Kong | Spring, Summer
Every April and August, the Asian numismatic community eagerly awaits our Stack’s Bowers Galleries Hong Kong auctions. Strategically planned to coincide with the Hong Kong International Coin Convention, which draws leading specialists and collectors of Asian numismatics from around the globe, our Hong Kong auctions incorporate individual catalogs targeting Asian numismatics and ancient coins, paper money and modern coins. Held at the award-winning Mira Hotel in Kowloon, just blocks from the Convention, our four-day event offers dual auctioneers, one speaking English and the other speaking Chinese, to encourage bidding against one another, resulting in the highest prices realized.
Since December 2010, Stack’s Bowers Galleries has held auctions of Asian numismatic rarities in Hong Kong. As the only U.S.-based auctioneer to do so, we have achieved over $50 million!
