Description

1795 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar. B-1, BB-21. Rarity-1. Two Leaves. VF-35 (PCGS).

Dusky-gray toning in the fields mixes with lighter silver on the worn areas. Liberty shows ample curl separation along with the eagle which retains his wing feather definition. Trace adjustment marks on the lower left obverse rim, but the fields and devices are generally attractive in terms of handling. The toning is mottled.

PCGS#: 6853

Pedigree: From the George Dyer Collection, collected circa 1910-1930.
