1847-O Liberty Eagle. VF-35 (PCGS).
A pleasing khaki-rose example with original surfaces and ample boldness of detail evident in most areas. Moderately abraded, as befits the grade, yet with few sizeable or otherwise singularly mentionable marks. The 1847-O is one of the most popular and eagerly sought type candidates among New Orleans Mint eagles of the No Motto design, and the present example is sure to have no difficulty finding its way into a circulated set.
Pedigree: From the Demarete Collection. Paper envelope included.
