1723 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny. Martin 4.68-Gb.9, W-13120. Rarity-4. AU-55 (PCGS).
118.4 grains. Clean surfaces and much nicer than commonly seen for the even light brown copper and trouble free. The strike is sharp and this is a later die state with crumbling within the legends and rims as noted in the Martin reference work. A desirable representative of this type.
Pedigree: From the Ted L. Craige Collection. Paper envelope included.
