Description

1723 Wood's Hibernia Farthing. Martin 2.1-Bc.1, W-12350. Rarity-5. DEI. GRATIA. REX. MS-63 BN (PCGS).

59.1 grains. Light brown with a few traces of red or dark specks when closely examined, but these are minor and minimally distracting. The strike is full and sharp, usual die state with a minor crack through NIA 1 and die crumbling in GR on the obverse. Scarce in Mint State, and generally pleasing despite a few normal surface issues.

PCGS#: 176

Pedigree: From the Ted L. Craige Collection. Paper envelope included.
