Description

1723 Wood's Hibernia Farthing. Martin 2.1-Bc.1, W-12350. Rarity-5. DEI. GRATIA. REX. MS-62 BN (PCGS).

56.9 grains. Traces of mint color in the lettering and devices and generally light brown with a few patches of slightly darker and rougher patina on both sides. The strike is sharp on the curls and the effigy. This is a fairly early die state with both dies showing light cracks that extend considerably through their later use.
