Description

1723 Wood's Hibernia Farthing. Martin 2.1-Bc.1, W-12350. Rarity-5. DEI. GRATIA. REX. AU-58 (PCGS).

58.6 grains. Dark brown surfaces with a few patches of olive or red patina when closely examined. The strike is average and this is an early die state, with the expected light crack through GR(ATIA) and the upper reverse, another down the angel on the harp. Scarce and reasonably attractive for a gently circulated coin.

PCGS#: 176

Pedigree: From the Ted L. Craige Collection. Paper envelope included.
