Description

1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. heraldic Eagle. B-6, BB-96. Rarity-3. BB Die State IV. Knob 9, 10 Arrows. EF-40 (PCGS).

Splendid eye appeal for the light silver-gray toning with golden-yellow accents around the devices. The strike is sharp and the surfaces are attractive with smooth wear and no circulation marks. Adjustments are noted on the reverse, at varying angles mostly on the shield and in the star field above the eagle. Scarce as a die variety and major type with the Knob 9 on the obverse, and perfect for the type or variety collector looking for a high grade example of this issue.
