1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. Heraldic Eagle. B-12, BB-120. Rarity-4. BB Die State IV. Pointed 9, 4 Berries. EF-45 (PCGS).
Handsome antique gray surfaces display even wear and only light scattered abrasions that result in a choice "look" that speaks of quality. Though the reverse stars and far left drapery lines are weak, these are as struck and indicative of the variety. A lovely early dollar in a very collectible grade. This die pairing is scarce as well, especially at this lofty grade level. Perfectly suited to the variety or date collector who has been patiently waiting for a nice 1798 to appear in the market.
