Stack’s Bowers Galleries, America’s oldest and most accomplished rare coin firm, is seeking an exceptional team to support our brand-new Boston gallery. The opening of our third retail store in the company’s 89-year history presents an exciting opportunity for the right individuals to ensure the success of this location.

We are seeking a Store Manager with prior experience in dealing in rare coins and bullion, along with general, broad-based numismatic knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the staff is well trained and professional.

• Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic and enhance profitability.

• Maintaining proper inventory levels of both numismatic material and bullion and monitoring inventory for proper turnover.

• Assisting clients in the gallery with purchases and sales.

• Securing consignments for our auctions.

• Interacting with clients on the phone and by email.

• Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as all local laws.

• Maintaining proper security in the store, both with our alarm system as well as a security guard.

• Fulfilling store administration duties such as reviewing all invoices and service contracts related to the operation of the store.

We are also seeking a team of Motivated Personnel with a general, broad-based interest in numismatics. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as the position requires interaction with the public. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Arranging promotional materials and in-store displays.

• Assisting clients in the gallery with purchases and sales.

• Interacting with clients on the phone and by email.

• Securing auction consignments.

• Assisting with invoicing and consignment documents.

• Assisting with maintaining inventory security.
