Think of us for your bullion needs!

Right now we have a great inventory of both silver and gold bullion coins.  With that in mind we are motivated to cut our premiums in order to move some of our stock.  We have silver from one-ounce coins and bars to 10-ounce bars, and 100-ounce bars.  Buy more and save more.  All bullion specials are available only at the New York Store and in person -- no mail or phone orders.

We also have a great buy on the one-ounce British Britannia 2017 gold coin at only $28 over spot, with a good stock available for immediate delivery.  We are always buying as well, so if you need to sell your coins, come in and see us.

Did you know Stack’s Bowers Galleries is selling the High Rise Collection at our upcoming official auction of the ANA World’s Fair of Money.  The High Rise Collection comprises nearly 500 coins encompassing collections of various series, including some remarkable examples of key dates and mintmarks.

Nearly all coins in the American series have year dates, but not month or day dates. Among the exceptions are the Bechtler $5 gold coins minted in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, letterd “August 1. 1834.”

This week’s highlight from our August 13-15 Hong Kong Auction at the Mira Hotel in Hong Kong is a beautifully toned extremely rare Kiangnan Proof 3 Mace 6 Candareens (1/2 Dollar) with reeded edge. It is struck from dies prepared at the Heaton mint in Birmingham.

Our next preview for the August ANA world coin sale is a historically significant French gold piece. In February of 1367 Edward the Black Prince sent armed forces to helped Pedro the Cruel of Spain regain his throne. Once Pedro was restored to the throne he failed to repay Edward the funds he promised to pay his soldiers.
