In the earlier parts of this great bank exhibit I discussed the building of the R.L. Miles, Jr., Collection. It was exhibited in 1968 in the newly opened building of the Virginia National Bank in 1968 in Norfolk, Virginia. The Bank had been a leader in re-establishing the area in Norfolk where the original colony was established.

A wonderful 1794 Sheldon-29 large cent, graded MS-65 BN by NGC is among the highlights of our upcoming October 79th Anniversary Sale, being held in conjunction with the PNG Invitational Convention in New York City. This cent displays quite bold overall definition, with exquisite, hard satiny surfaces with dominant orange-brown patina.
