Did you know Stack’s Bowers Galleries will be attending the London Coin Fair Bloomsbury on September 3, 2016, and the Investor Trade Fair in Prague, Czech Republic from September 8-10, 2016?  Maryna Syntsya from our Paris office will be meeting with clients to discuss selling their collections through auction.  She is fluent in French, English, and Russian, as well as speaking basic Italian and German.  If you would like to make an appointment with Maryna please click here to email her at msynytsya@stacksbowers.com.

The Stack’s Bowers Galleries team will be headed to the Long Beach Coin Expo September 8-10, 2016. Before the show begins, our team will be busy buying and selling coins and currency in our private trading suite, Room 102-A of the convention center, Tuesday, September 6 from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Wednesday, September 7, from 9 AM to noon.

The Draped Bust cents of 1798 represent one of the most dynamic issues of early American copper coinage, with significant modifications to both the obverse and reverse design types throughout the year. With 46 distinct die pairings, the challenge this issue presents to collectors is on par with some of the pre-Federal copper issues from Connecticut and New Jersey.
