Answers to Frequently Asked Questions About the New StacksBowers.com

Dear Valued Customers,

I wanted to take a moment to address some of the frequently asked questions since the release of our new website.

As our site was designed and built using today’s newest web technologies, it admittedly does not function properly in older internet browsers, specifically Internet Explorer 8 and earlier. If you are having problems with the site’s functionality please update your browser. We recommend Google Chrome, and links to download a free update to your browser for Chrome and others are provided below for your convenience. This simple and free update will improve your experience with StacksBowers.com as well as other sites.

We are also working hard to improve the user experience when using our site on mobile devices. We just released an update which fixed a small bug that prohibited users from viewing the auctions on a mobile device within the Safari browser on Apple devices. Alternatively, you can use our site on your iPhone or iPad using Google Chrome. Within Google Chrome there is an option to “Request Desktop Site.” You can enable this by clicking the button that looks like three horizontal lines on the right-hand side next to the URL bar.

Past Stack’s Bowers Galleries and Teletrade invoices and consignor statements cannot currently be found on the new site. Should you need any historical Stack’s Bowers Galleries information, please contact our auction services team at 949.253.0916 and they will be happy to provide it for you. All your historical Teletrade information can still be found at Teletrade.com. This information will be imported to the new site in the future and should you need any information today, please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance.

We are also working to address the navigation issues relating to the selected filters being cleared after returning to the auction lot listing. This will be fixed shortly.

Finally, we will be adding a keyword search feature to the current auction listings, as well.
